Women's health and women's rights

As a 20yr old woman in the state of Virginia, I feel I should not have to ever fight for my rights. That was done by my ancestors. So why in 2012 is it even a question that women should have the right to chose what is done to their bodies and it should not be a question of wether or not I can take birth control not even to prevent pregnancy but to control health issues that come with being born a woman. I will not be treated as a second class citizen or be thought of as less than. I am a vet, I am a 20 yr old veteran for this country, and I am a woman. I choose to fight for the freedoms of this country only to be told in my home state that I am less than and do not have the right to choose what will be done to my own body? What medicine I can and cannot take?? Thats absolutely absurd. Stop this legislation, quit playing political games, human rights are not worth losing for political power. Stand up for what is right, equality. Aren't we supposedly fighting for the equality of others in the middle east? Fighting for them to have democratic governments such as our own?? Some example we set when those brave enough to fight for this country will not even have equal rights..
