Keep Regulations

Our country was not founded on a document stating that there is a right to abortion. The constitution states that there is a right to life. Even though it is a small step toward the moral absolute, I strongly support the current regulations on abortion centers approved last year. These regulations should be made permanent and should continue to include the strongest standards. At a minimum these regulations are reasonable, common sense measures to ensure that life-saving equipment is on hand, infections are prevented, and that clear written policies and building guidelines are in place. They were proposed by medical experts at the Department of Health and were approved 12-1 by the Board of Health. Until the truth is acknowledged that a right to life is taken from an innocent child when an abortion is performed, and that our constitution is being openly raped, the abortion industry which hides under the guise of health care, should at a minimum be held to these regulations. All the main premises in our constitution - the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are starkly opposed by abortion. Abortion has been documented as taking the happiness and even the sanity of those involved when conscience sets the participants moral compass on the truth, that abortion ends a life.
