Respected members of the Board of Health:

I hope that you will decline to make permanent the new regulations for clinics which, among many other health services for women and families, provide abortions.  The committee which studied the new regulations recommended against adopting them since no health or safety benefit would accrue.  Please use your common sense to promote an atmosphere where women may continue to receive quality health care but within an environment which has served so well over the past several years.  Please do not make permanent the temporary regulations which will increase health care costs and, in some cases, close clinics providing health services for our most vulnerable population.
