I strongly urge you to amend the ill-advised regulations imposed on women’s heath facilities as a result of SB 924.  This “TRAP” law (Targeted Regulations for Abortion Providers), requires women’s health centers to follow regulations that other similar outpatient medical facilities do not.  This is simply a blatant attempt to take away women’s right to abortion, and is an attack of women’s health and autonomy. 

These regulations should not increase barriers for women to receive necessary health services, including access to critical reproductive health care services, life-saving cancer screenings, family planning, STI testing and treatment, and continued safe, legal abortion care.  Particularly impacted will be the poor and rural women, who already have too limited access to save health services.
