I stand against the notion that abortion is "health care," since it ends the life of a child. It also has detrimental effects on the stability and mental health of many mothers, which in itself iscontrary to the purpose of health care. For this reason, as long as the procedure is still legally considered "health care", it must be restricted and regulated by the strictest possible health guidlines. Not only is this good, common medical practice in any area of medicine, but it will also help to minimize the collateral damage to mothers that results from abortion, despite the fact that irrevocable damage is still done to the children who are killed. This is at least better than the alternative.
