The government should stay out of the bedroom and away from the doctor-patient relationship. If the proposed regulations on outpatient surgery/abortions were truly health and safety concerns then they should apply to ALL outpatient surgeries.  My husband had a vasectomy at his urologist's office in a room that was approximatey 7x12.  I had a podiatric surgery in the podiatrist's office in a room that was significantly smaller than that.  Why are urologists and podiatrists not being held to these new and "safer" standands?  Are men's genitals and the feet of both genders not of concern?  This proposal just the imposition of specific religious beliefs.
