I strongly support the strongest possible permanent medical standards regulating abortions at clinics in Virginia.  A young woman died as a result of an abortion performed at one of the clinics still operating here in Fairfax (ref: Virginia Board of Medicine Orders of 4/5/05 and 5/18/07).  The owner operator of the other abortion clinic still operating in Fairfax has had his medical license revoked, voluntarily retired, or temporarily suspended in four other states for negligence or violation of medical statutes. He has been charged with murder for abortions performed at his abortion clinic in Maryland. (ref: Philadelphia Inquirer, Dec 31, 2011).
