The required regulation of this legislation threaten the continued availability of safe, leagal first-trimester abortion and prevent reproductive health care in multiple locations throughout the state.

The cost of these medically inappropriate and burdensome regulations will restrict access to essential health care services for women in Virginia especially those who are young, uninsured or minority. Do not ignore this population of people who often do not speak out on their own behalf.  I hope that the regulations will be amended to be based on medicine and science and not impede women's accesas to essential health care. 

As a professional who has worked with women in need of these services I implore you to make these changes.  Many caring Virginians want to have options for themselves and others and will be watching this vote.
