I oppose the bill claiming that personhood begins at conception and the bill requiring transvaginal ultrasounds prior to abortion.  Our country is supposed to be based upon a system that separates church and state.  I urge the supporters of this bill to leave your religion out of our government and out of the bodies of women in our state.  Our nation is headed in a scary direction -- I never thought my children would be facing a future where their rights could be less than my own have been.  Please do the right thing and reject these bills.  Your wives, daughters, sisters, and mothers deserve better than what you would impose upon them.
