GPS collars, vote no

This proposed law would burden all tax paying residents of Virginia. There will be additional costs for not only the hunters, but non hunters as well. The cost to the hunters would be obvious. The cost of the collars and associated equipment, the increase in the cost of the hunting license to cover the increase in enforcement officers and staff. New computer software to handle such a complex system of analyzing the data that would be required to prove, what most certainly be a flood of “complaints”, that the hound in question belongs to the hunter in question.
Now we can turn to the burden on the non hunter. Increased taxes to pay for all the expenses involving prosecution of the alleged violations which I assume will be required to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. This will also take up space in the already log jammed judicial system. In short, vote no and save all residents a lot of time and money for the wishes of a handful people who think deer and bear hunting with dogs is an invasion of their privacy.
