My wife and I strongly oppose nominally "health regulations"  which have as their fundamental purpose the crippling of Planned Parenthood which provides a wide range of health assistance to women regardless of income.

Contraception is the first line of defense against abortion and that is the fundamental service that Planned Parenthood has provbided since its inception. It is only when contraception has failed and women and men are faced with unplanned pregnancy that abortion becomes a moral alternative.

It is cruel and inhuman to force women to become unwilling mothers of childen whom they cannot nurture, clothe, house and educate. It is a path that leads to impoverishment of parents and children with disastrous consequences not only of them, but for the community as a whole.

A responsible and moral decision by the Board of Health will correct the temporary regulations with sensible and medically valid rules that do not target a community institution that serves us wll.
