I am prolife, which to me means that the lives of  unborn children and their mothers are to be protected. Since abortion clinics are regrettably allowed to function in the Commonwealth,  I must support regulation that forces them to operate in a way that does not endanger even more human lives.  A woman who "chooses" to abort her child -- and that "choice" is often far from informed and uncoerced-- should not be subjected to conditions that threaten her life.  It is pathetic that clinic operators, who make a tidy profit from misery, have long been exempt from the health and safety codes that govern other outpatient surgical centers.
