I can’t understand why a businessman would reject a project that has brought $650 million to Virginians.  Half of those funds are in support of low-income energy improvements.  I can’t see the General Assembly coming up with that kind of money.  And the other half of the funding goes to flood resiliency projects; the climate isn’t going to get any better and we need to protect people and property along the coast, as well as along flood-prone rivers. 

Please reconsider this ill-advised and illegal ruling. The future is in your hands.
