I strongly support staying in RGGI, as do the majority of Virginians.

The program has been successful: it has provided over $600K to limit climate pollution, reduce risks, and promote flood resiliance.

It is fairminded and just by design: 25% of the funds go to low-income communities, and the grant process is straightforward.

We have a long way to go to reach our climate goals. Coastal Virginia is one of the most vulnerable locations on the East Coast regarding sea-level rise.  RGGI can help us address these crucial matters.
