The Virginia General Assembly and Governor enacted a law for Virginia to participate with 10 other states in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), which has already successfully reduced carbon pollution and generated more than half a billion dollars for energy efficiency and flood protection in Virginia.

Gov. Youngkin has tried to unilaterally nullify the law, a power the Governor does not have. 

Virginia citizens widely support RGGI, and it should continue.
