Keep Virginia in RGGI

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions as rapidly as possible is the paramount moral imperative of our time. The climate crisis is getting progressively worse the more of these gases we pump into the atmosphere. Putting a price on carbon, as our participation in RGGI does, is one effective way of achieving emissions reductions. The modest cost to ratepayers is more than offset by the benefits of our participation and pales in comparison to the extreme costs that worsening climate change will impose on everyone.

I urge the Board to reject the regulation attempting to end Virginia's participation in RGGI.
