As someone born and raised in Virginia, I would like to congraulate both the Governor and Attorney General. I am now completely ashamed to call myself a Virginian. Your relentless war against women will do nothing but hurt women. 

You say this is about protecting women, but it's not. You have made it extremely clear that this is about restricting a woman's right to rule her body. This is about your agenda to make women second class citizens. This is about the view that women are not smart enough to know when and if they want children.

Fun fact: giving birth has killed more women than abortions! 

More fun facts: In countries where abortions are illegal, they have a higher rate of abortion. Why? Because when a woman is desperate enough to end her pregnancy, she will do anything in power to make it happen. So which would you rather have? A woman seeking an illegal, unsafe back alley abortion? Or a women seeking a safe, legal abortion?

Would you condemn poor women in VA, who do not have the time or resources to take multiple days off work, to carry a pregnany to full term? You would force them to have their bodies forever and irreversibly changed. Who gives you that kind of power?

But I doubt you will listen. You have made it very clear to everyone in Virginia that you will do nothing until you have destroyed all access to abortion and contraceptives. Shame on you for thinking you know better than a woman facing an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy. Shame on you for thinking you know better than her physician.
