Yeah, lets make it harder for low income mothers! (being sarcastic!)

This regulation, aside from being an attempt to side step Roe V. Wade, has far reaching consiquences. Places like  "Planned Parenthood" offer more than just abortions. They are there to support low income mothers with health care and parenting solutions. Additionally, the option of abortion is a necessary one. Though as i am a male, I feel that the issue of abortion is not something that I (or any other male for that matter) have any right to comment on. Instead I offer support to those who are forced to make the choice. That said, the regulation in it's self would not be all bad if it were to offer non-profit support programs like Planned Parenthood a means of financial backing to meet the criteria, but this is not it's goal. This regulation is a clear attempt to force programs catering to low income potential mothers to close.

To look at this in another light (how ever sickening it may sound), every unwanted child that is born to a low income mother then places a financial burden on the state for food and welfare. There is a higher chance that they will become wards of the state thus further streaching our already thin budget. The schools they will be forced to attend are already underfunded. Additionally there is a higher rate of criminal activity in this demographic, thus causeing more money to be spent on incarceration.

I know that this is a sad way to look at this situation, but it is an honest one. This is coming from someone who has been through an abortion. Had my partner at the time not made her choice, we would not have been able to financially support children, nore were mentaly capable of assumeing the responsibility. This said I myself am neither for nor aginst abortion, i am however fully supportive of ones right to decide what happens to one's own body and life.
