The strip mining of menhaden must be curtailed now. Similar to the reduction of bison, mankind will take take take until there is no more. Why else would these factory ships even exist?

There is a massive and diverse economic benefit to stopping Cook and the factory ships.  Sport fishing, whale watching, bird watching etc... far exceeds the dozen or so jobs this reduction fishery supports.

I'm all for sensible commercial fishing.  Just please stop the short sighted scraping of every last living creature from our ocean.
