As some one who commutes daily across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, I can't believe what I witness on an annual basis.

The scope and magnitude of these "fishing" operations is nothing less than obscene. I don't see how anyone that witnesses these "harvesters" in real time could think they are reasonable or sustainable.

Additionally, the fish kills that wash up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia's shorelines when one of the nets break due to overfishing is horrific.

Since the politicians clearly are being influenced by these ocean harvester lobbyists, I would call on the VRMC to bring some sanity to the entire mess and put some common sense limits in place before it is too late.
