Greenhouse gas emissions are greatly disrupting our climate, and our state is becoming increasingly vulnerable to flood damage caused by climate change. RGGI provides necessary funds to protect VA communities from flood damage. We can’t leave our neighbors stranded without flood protection, especially our lower-income neighbors who would be affected the most. VA needs to get serious about all clean energy initiatives and emission reduction in order to move forward, not backwards!
