This is nothing but a scheme...and huge lie...to simply make people who can afford it pay more for using electricity through this tax disguised as a moral imperative.  If people, i.e. governments, were serious about reducing carbon emissions, they would simply use less to save our beautiful planet.  But, they are not.  Emissions go up but who cares so long as power generating companies pay this new tax and simply pass it along to residents.  

There is also a thing called the carbon cycle where carbon, the most useful element in creation, is recycled by weather into the oceans.  Also, every living piece of vegetation on Earth is designed to breath in (absorb through leaves) carbon and alter it into oxygen, the oxygen every living thing needs to live.  If schools did their job and taught actual science, this RGGI wouldn't be anything but a joke.  

Don't be fooled by the many, many comments urging politicians to keep their states under RGGI's thumb.  These are comments from electronic bots, probably controlled by our good friends in China and Russia.
