Please amend proposed regulations governing health clinics to preserve the essential services that are provided to women in our community.  Clinics should not have to spend a fortune to meet standards that are required of hospitals.  Clinics are already safe and efficient.  If these clinics are forced to close, hundreds of women will be without important services such as screening for cancer, treatment for STD's, family planning, and first-trimester abortions.

Regulations that would force these clinics to close would disproportionately impact poor women and minorities.  They would be discriminatory!
