Stay in RGGI. It's good for our Health

As a physician, I appreciate the positive impact RGGI has on the health of Virginians.

Emissions dropped by 12.8% in Virginia’s first year of RGGI participation, and from just 2009-2014, RGGI states saw improved air quality benefited RGGI by an estimated $5.7 billion. 45% of funds go to localities to perform resiliency planning and projects.

Virginia Clinicians for Climate Action has a statement on the health benefits of RGGI. https://www.virginiaclinicians.org/_files/ugd/b42d13_dd2e2d5b26bb4eb7bad1d6aa68b66619.pdf

Keep Virginia in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.  It's essential for the health of our families and friends in Virginia.
