Keep Virginia participating in RGGI

To: Governor Yougkin,

I am writing today as I feel very strongly about your wish to reduce Virginia's ability to manage the increasing problems caused by the increasing temperatures and flooding ans storms.

I oppose the governor's attempt to remove Virginia from RGGI!

I want Virginia to continue benefitting from its participation in RGGI.  I believe it would be much more useful and effective to Fix the utility code!  Don't remove Virginia from RGGI.

Virginia needs RGGI funding for flooding damages.  RGGI is helping Virginians right now. It has generated funding for weatherization of lower income homes. This adds to the health and well being of the Virginians homes that are better suited for the increased abrupt extremes in weather. It also means that there are more local jobs created for roofers, electricians and HVAC professionals.

I pray that the governor will exercize his reasoning powers on behalf of the welfare of Virginians.

thank you, Sally Branch
