Keep Virginia in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. RGGI benefits Virginians by providing funds and resources for the most under-served people in the Commonwealth and Gov. Youngkin does not have any plans to replace these funds. Without RGGI we will not have a fund to help cities address flooding or state funds to help with energy efficiency upgrades that save people money on their energy bills.

The Air Board also is not a legislative body and does not have the authority to remove Virginia from RGGI. Gov. Youngkin is not above the law and cannot circumvent the protocols we have in place just because he wants to.
