The RGGI is necessary and vital, do not leave it

The RGGI is a necessary and vital tool to protect Virginians from climate change. It would be folly to leave it. I am strongly against any efforts to leave the RGGI and weaken our ability to deal with the effects of climate change.

RGGI provides millions in funding to help frontline and disinvested communities with energy efficiency and mitigate climate risks like flooding. We will be more vulnerable and waste more energy without the RGGI.

RGGI is also great for forward thinking businesses who care about climate and energy use. It makes Virginia a great place to open a business, create jobs, and lead the way in the energy transition.

We must stay in RGGI to protect our energy future.
