I urge you to maintain Virginia’s participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. It is important that we continue to work to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and help to fund initiatives that are necessary for responding to climate change effects such as flooding mitigation. These are critical issues that must be addressed on a macro level and the state needs to maintain its partnership with surrounding states to ensure this is done effectively.
