Repeal CO2 Budget Trading Program as required by Executive Order 9 (Revision A22)

DEQ must abandon its plans to repeal regulations implementing Virginia's participation in the RGGI.  The RGGI region has experienced emissions reduction of more than 50%, which outpaces the rest of the nation as a whole, and it has raised over $4 billion to invest in local communities.  Staying RGGI keeps Virginia on a path to net-zero carbon emissions by 2045.  Additionally, removing Virginia from the RGGI will seriously deplete the Community Flood Preparedness Fund, which is the only dedicated state funding for critical flood resilience planning and projects.  I want my son to experience a cleaner, healthier Virginia as he grows older.  Please do not take these short-sighted, ill-advised, and harmful actions because our current Governor wants to reward dirty energy special interests and score political points with his right-wing base.
