OPPOSE removing Virginia from RGGI

I oppose removing Virginia from RGGI as I want Virginia to remain in this climate program.  This administration has a shown a propensity to simply ignore laws that it does not agree with. RGGI reduces emissions and without RGGI our state will not be able to achieve carbon-free power by 2050 as set forth in the the Virginia Clean Economy Act.

Decreased air pollution means fewer lung issues, fewer premature births and fewer missed days of school and work.  Further, participation in RGGI provides dedicated funding to plan for and prevent flooding.

Instead, I believe we should focus on utility rate reform to lower the high bills due to monopoly utilities.
