I strongly urge the Virginia Air board to protect Virginia’s participation in RGGI. It is essential to support initiatives like RGGI that help us achieve our goal to address the impacts of climate change and reach carbon-free energy by 2050. 

 

 To date, RGGI has raised over $370 million. Those funds help thousands of struggling families reduce energy bills and increase energy efficiency. It also helps provides funding for localities across the state to prepare for and protect against increasingly devastating floods.
