Stay in the RGGI

Virginia has already benefited by receiving millions of dollars from this program which have been used to combat climate change and help people at risk as a result of the disasters resulting from climate change. It is essential that we remain in the RGGI. Moreover, the state legislature enacted the legislation which made Virginia a member of the RGGI and only they, the duly elected representatives of the citizens of Virginia, have the power to alter our course. The governor does not, and should not, have power to circumvent enacted legislation.
