RGGI is an effective and common-sense response to the reality of climate change facing Virginia.

By mandating that polluting plants pay for the CO2 they release – which causes so much environmental, social, and fiscal destruction – while funding state-wide relief to communities who are most vulnerable to its effects, RGGI is an essential part of the fight for our future.

We should absolutely remain in RGGI as an investment in our communities, our environment, and our children.
