As Virginians, we need to do our part to protect our climate and future generations of Virginians. Pulling out of RGGI is irresponsible and down right asinine since the world as a whole is moving pass unclean energy sources in favor of renewable energy. There are about 8.6 million people currently living in Virginia. How many people, let’s say on the Eastern Shore, would be affected by rising sea temperature due to climate change? Leaving the RGGI would actively regress the progress we have made as a state and that is not a win for anyone. Virginia is for lovers, not greenhouse gas emissions.
