Leaving the RGG is bad for our economic growth, and the future of Virginia

Just this year, it was announced that our state would be getting a Lego factory. We were chosen for the explicit reason that we had a plan to free our energy grid from fossil fuels. It doesn’t take a business genius to see that leaving the RGG is a slap in the face to Lego, as well as every other business who might move to the state for similar reasons. Even suggesting that we leave the RGG will have already dealt a stupid short-sited blow to our government’s credibility.

Because I suspect that this is the only reason the Youngkin administration will find in any way compelling, I focus my comment here on the economic reason this is a stupid idea, leaving aside the many moral and scientific ones.
