Opposition to Proposed Rules For Adoption Agencies, 22VAC40-131

To force all adoptions agencies to allow for same sex couples to adopt children is a clear violation of the religious liberties, protected under the Constitution, of agencies who object to this on religious grounds.  In addition, this is flies in the face of the clear and evident fact, supported by research and thousands of years of human convention, that the ideal environment for the raising of a child is a home with both and mom and a dad. Two dads or two moms can not, despite their best efforts and intentions, provide a truly healthy environment for any child.  This is an idea that seems to be created to satisfy the tides of political correctness, and not one that is well grounded in research, careful analysis, or even good common sense.
