A child is a child is a child...whether processed through a private, faith-based adoption agency or a public one. No matter the orientation of the adoptive parents, as long as they provide love and security for the child, who are we to deny them?

Make it mandatory for all agencies to accept couples of the same sex. This is about preserving the best interest of the child, NOT the interest of the people who are uncomfortable around those of other orientations. There are unsuitable parents in "straight" homes just as there are from homosexual ones. Let's put our energy toward finding these children families--any family, opening our hearts to ALL those who are willing to cherish and love them in years to come.
