I support Virginia's current involvement in the RGGI. I believe that reducing our participation in the RGGI will be a detriment towards our current and future citizens. As a leader in the region when it comes to affecting positive outcomes of reducing climate change, retracting our Commonwealth's support for the RGGI would be irresponsible. Our population deserves better. 

Long-term impacts of moving forward with this action would place too high of a burden on future residents and would be kicking the can down the road. We should be driving positive change and setting a positive example for others to follow. 

Virginia should remain an active participant in the RGGI.
