Virginia's participation in RGGI has generated $378 million in new funding to provide critical low-income energy efficiency programs and flood resilience infrastructure that serves vulnerable communities in every corner of the Commonwealth, all while insulating Virginia's households and businesses from the worst spikes in fossil fuel energy costs AND reducing reliance on fossil fuels for energy generation and improving air, water, and land quality as a result. It is great policy.
