As a landowner and farmer, I am against the clear cutting of old growth forests and buy outs of farm land to install acres of solar panels and windmills. “Solar farms” destroy the topsoil and land they are installed on. The soil is permanently ruined by leaching toxic metals from panel mounts and damaged panels. Once ruined, this national resource, farmland, cannot be replaced.
