I support the proposed guidelines and think they should be mandatory for all teachers and schools in Virginia. Any school system employee or volunteer who ignores or fails to observe these guidelines should be fired and banned from ever working in the field of education in Virginia. Public notification of these guidelines should be made often to reinforce their intent.
