Oppose 656

I oppose the passage of this bill. It is poorly worded and allows too much interference from parents and endangers our children’s well rounded education. Our children should learn all that exists in the world, not just a carefully curated selection. How would be better prepare our kids for the big world when they leave us, if we don’t give them the tools to respond to all kinds of situations?  This recent debate about “sexually explicit” materials in school veers on the edge of ridiculous political nonsense.  The School should be a place of learning, not a political theater.
