Guidance Document Change: In 2021, the Virginia General Assembly passed House Bill 1904 and Senate Bill 1196, and was signed into law by Governor Northam. The law establishes new requirements to support culturally competent educators in the Commonwealth. The Guidance on Cultural Competency Training for Teachers and Other Licensed School Board Employees in Virginia Public Schools was developed for the Board to fulfill the statutory mandate to provide guidance on the minimum standards for the local training requirement.

NO TO CRT IN SCHOOLS!

This document looks really nice and well meaning, but sadly we all know what it really is...this is a hyper focus on race to the point that it is blatant racism. This is Marxism and it is infiltrating our schools and our companies and we must stand up and say no to this ideology that separates, divides and creates hate against our fellow Americans. In America we love people, and we don't need to hyper focus on someone's race, we need to look at CHARACTER! We don't need to baby people based on their culture - Here in America the culture is AMERICAN! Particularly disturbing aspect of this document are the "micro competencies" which go "beyond the classroom". Virginians are waking up to this nonsense and we say enough is enough! Stop indoctrinating our children with hate and racism. The guidelines list "minimum" standards, and they allow for going even further with their competency training? And it is on the docket for the next 2-3 years already. Our wonderful teachers should not be put through this, and neither should our children.
