Individual critical thinking is so very important.  If educators are mandated to continually tell students how to think and how to relate to certain social mindset...they are really not educating them—they are indoctrinating them.

Our school children should not be educated using a cookie cutter curriculum.  Once again the VDOE is more about molding the social aspects of our children than educating them in CORE subjects.  This curriculum will take up valuable time in the classroom, time that could be used for teaching and preparing our children for entering the workforce, exposure to various careers, making household budgets, balancing their spending, and learning cursive writing (which should have not been removed).
