SEL and Critical Race Theory are both garbage concepts not based on actual facts.  Our schools should focus on teaching our kids how to read, write, do mathematics.  Kids need to be taught skills so they can be successful in life.  Instead of teaching kids they are victims stuck because of their upbringing, teach them the problem solving skills they need to improve their life situation! I grew up poor and nobody told me I was a victim.  They did teach me that your work ethic mattered.  If you want to do better in life take personal responsibility for ones own actions.  I was taught hard work pays off no matter who you are. I was taught that we are all gifted but in different ways.  Teach kids to help them use  THEIR gifts not only to survive but to enrich the community they live in.
