Schools need to be teaching students the three-Rs: Reading, Riting, and Rithmetic. Teach children how to Read, how to do Math (as advanced as they are capable of learning and not held back by others), and how to write and speak eloquently, and they will be put on a path for success. Focus should be on nurturing their natural talents, gifts, and God-given abilities, not forcing them all into the same mold and teaching them to a test. Rather than fixing the already broken system, you are just doubling down on failed policies that are making our children come out of schools dumb and unprepared for real life. Let parents do the parenting, and you just do your job of teaching kids how to read, write, and do math.
The public school systems need to stop this nonsense about teaching critical race theory and other liberal agenda bull crap. People should be judged based upon the content of their character, not the color of their skin. I believe 100% that, and I feel almost every American believes that. It is the constant barrage of liberals always trying to push their agenda and force their views upon everyone that causes this divide.
If this is the best that our public education system has to offer, and you try to shove CRT and prevent my children from taking higher level math (which set me on a path to become a successful engineer), you can guarantee that we will be pulling our kids out of the public school system. I want the best I can provide for my children, and the public school system keeps getting worse. Leave your politics out of the schools and get back to teaching the basics, which you are failing miserably at doing currently due to the restrictive policies that do not allow teachers to actually practice their profession anymore. They are trying to get kids to all pass the same test now, not trying to nurture their God-given abilities, so you are doomed to failure from the start if that is your philosophy on learning and teacher performance is based only upon a score.
