Duh.... we need clean air and clean water to sustain life on this planet. I find it silly that such common sense regulations aren't already in place without the need for such a long bureaucratic process. Thank goodness the Riverkeeper, and like-minded people/organizations, are fighting on a daily basis to correct what our governments should have dealt with decades ago. Shame on us.

Virginia is blessed with many beautiful waterways, most of which feed into the Chesapeake Bay, whose struggles are well documented. It is our duty to the planet and future generations to restore the natural ecosystems to as pristine a state as possible.... as soon as possible. That means it's now or never as I fear the point of no return is dangerously close.
