Submission of documents in support of continued licensure of landscape architect

On behalf of the members of the Virginia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and Virginia-licensed landscape architects, I am submitting the Virginia Chapter’s white paper Justification of Continued Licensure of Landscape Architects in Virginia, September 29, 2020. The purpose of submitting the white paper is to provide comprehensive information to BPOR to support the completion of the Board’s study of the regulatory status of landscape architects, and to deliver a compelling justification for the continued licensure of landscape architects.  The following two supporting documents are also being submitted:

  • Landscape Architecture Licensing Handbook: Ensuring Safe, Healthy, and Resilient Natural and Built Environments, Produced by: Josh Sundloff, JD, ASLA. Produced for: The American Society of Landscape Architects. Original Creator and Contributor: Alex P. Schatz, JD, January 2017
  • Validation Report, Task Analysis, L.A.R.E., Submitted to: The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB), Professional Testing, Inc., August 2016

The three documents can be downloaded here:
