Wait for Vaccine to Fully Reopen

It will not be safe to fully reopen schools in the pre-pandemic way until a widely-available, well-tested vaccine is available.  Until then, CDC guidelines must be followed as much as possible.  This means class sizes would need to be halved in our area for there to be enough space in the classroom to place desks in appropriate social distances.  This means at least three times the numbers of busses to transport children to and from school for proper social distancing.  This means twice as many teachers to lead classes: one for those students in the classroom and one for those who are participating remotely due to family vulnerability for each classroom.  Obviously, no school district can afford these measures, even if everyone wears a mask as they should to limit potential virus spread.  Therefore, the best and most practical solution at this time is to wait until a valid vaccine to combat COVID-19 is available and has been administered to almost the entire population.
