Every country that has successfully addressed the COVID-19 pandemic has requested the use of masks. Wearing a mask is such an incredibly small sacrifice in light of the fact that we have seen more American deaths than in WWI during this crisis.
It is simply risible to state that a government that has the power to draft a young citizen, send them to a battlefield, and order them to charge a fortified position in the face of withering fire, armed with nothing more than a pistol, cannot ask its citizens to wear a mask to prevent widespread disease and death. There is nothing in the Constitution that prevents the government from implementing this unobtrusive, simple step to prevent the spread of a deadly disease.
